The chemical composition and mechanical properties of Q550E are in accordance with Chinese GB/T 1591-2018 standard, and the main chemical composition includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo) and other elements. Among them, the contents of C, Si, Mn, P and S are ≤0.20%, ≤0.55%, ≤1.60%, ≤0.025%, ≤0.025%, and the contents of Cu, Ni, Cr and Mo are ≤0.30%, ≤0.30%, ≤1.20%, ≤0.10%. These elements work together to make Q550E steel plate has better weather resistance, corrosion resistance and tensile strength, yield strength and impact toughness and other excellent properties.


The mechanical properties of Q550E steel plate are in line with the Chinese GB/T 1591-2018 standard, its tensile strength is ≥550MPa, yield strength is ≥490MPa, elongation is ≥17%, and the hardness is ≥235HBW.In addition, the Q550E steel plate has a good low-temperature toughness, and it can maintain excellent low-temperature toughness in the environment of -40℃.
