S420N is a high-strength low-alloy plate, specifically a weldable low-carbon engineering structural steel with high strength. Its carbon content is typically less than 0.25%. Compared to ordinary carbon structural steels, it offers higher yield point or yield strength and yield ratio, better cold and hot workability, good weldability, lower cold brittleness tendency, reduced notch and aging sensitivity, as well as improved resistance to atmospheric and seawater corrosion.

S420N steel is a good weldability structural steel grade. Compare the S355N, S420N steel grade has more yield and tensile strength. The equal grade of S420N is S420M. Gnee steel has much experience in manufacture S420N. we cooperated with wuyang mill of HBIS to produce the max thickness 300mm in electroslag remelting technical.
