On August 15th, as a ship loaded with plates sailed away from Shenzhen Port, the first ship of products from the first batch of orders for the GNEE STEEL 3800mm wide and heavy plate production line project was successfully shipped.
The GNEE STEEL 3800mm wide and heavy plate production line project and its supporting continuous casting system are among the key profit-generating projects in GNEE's "four 1-million-ton" product upgrading project this year. The products produced by it cover applications in industries such as shipbuilding and marine engineering, chemical industry, boiler and pressure vessel, heat exchanger, and pharmaceutical. The successful entry into the market this time marks that GNEE STEEL will embrace broader market opportunities.
It is reported that it took only one month from the successful hot commissioning of the GNEE STEEL 3800mm wide and heavy plate production line project on July 16 this year to receiving and delivering the orders this time.
To ensure the product research and development as well as market promotion of the GNEE STEEL 3800mm wide and heavy plate production line project, all relevant units of the GNEE Group have collaborated closely and gone all out.
The Sales Center organized key business personnel to form an elite team, which coordinated and communicated efficiently and frequently between the two bases and customers, and carefully completed a series of tasks such as trial rolling inquiry, agreement formulation, and process coordination.
The Technology Center, together with the Iron and Steel Manufacturing Department, Hot Rolling Plant, Steelmaking Plant, and Testing Center, gave full play to their technical advantages to provide strong support for the production process. During the production commissioning period, trial production plans for various products were formulated, the processes of the new production line were continuously optimized and improved, and product production was steadily promoted.
The Anyang headquarters and relevant units of GNEE STEEL worked together to handle the MES system design, order acceptance review, material preparation, production scheduling, inspection and judgment, logistics and transportation, etc., ensuring the efficient and smooth completion of this delivery.
