The mechanical properties of Q550E steel plate are in accordance with the Chinese GB/T 1591-2018 standard, its tensile strength is ≥550MPa, yield strength is ≥490MPa, elongation is ≥17%, and the hardness is ≥235HBW.In addition, the Q550E steel plate has a good low-temperature toughness, and it can maintain excellent low-temperature toughness in -40℃ environment.
For applications in high temperature environments, Q550E steel plate has excellent high temperature resistance. Under high temperature conditions, the yield strength and tensile strength of Q550E steel plate can still maintain a high level, and at the same time, it has good low temperature toughness. Therefore, Q550E steel plate is suitable for bridge structures, power pylons and other engineering fields in high temperature environments.
In terms of application under corrosive medium environment, Q550E steel plate has good corrosion resistance. Through the use of appropriate anti-corrosion measures, such as coating anti-corrosion coatings or stainless steel cladding treatment, Q550E steel plate can maintain stable performance in corrosive media and extend the service life of the structure.
