EN10028 16Mo3 Pressure Vessel Plate
16MO3 is pronounced as sixteen molybdenum three steel plate, which is named according to the content of C (carbon) and Mo (molybdenum), which means that the carbon content of this steel plate is about 160, and the molybdenum content is about 300. 16MO3 belongs to European standard steel plate.
16MO3 is a pressure vessel steel plate, an EN10028-2 designated grade chromium-molybdenum steel alloy, suitable for high-temperature service and used in the oil, gas and chemical industries as a weldable steel for the manufacture of industrial boilers and stainless steel pressure vessels.
The size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of 16MO3 boiler steel plate should comply with the provisions of EN10029, and the allowable thickness deviation should be based on the Class B deviation of EN10029.
