GNEE Q345R National Standard Steel Plates Delivered Efficiently

Recently, GNEE STEEL received an urgent order from a Vietnamese chemical enterprise, requiring the supply of 150 tons of Q345R pressure vessel steel plates within 10 days for the emergency maintenance of its acetic acid plant. The company immediately activated the emergency production plan and finally completed the delivery 1 day ahead of schedule.

Due to a sudden failure of the plant, the Vietnamese customer urgently needed to replace the damaged pressure vessel shell and contacted GNEE through the China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. "If the goods fail to arrive within 10 days, the entire production line will be shut down, resulting in a daily loss of over one million yuan!" the customer's procurement director said anxiously over the phone. GNEE immediately coordinated: the raw material workshop gave priority to allocating special steel billets for Q345R (complying with GB/T 3531 standard, with a yield strength of ≥345MPa, a tensile strength of 470-630MPa, delivered in normalized condition, impact temperature of 0℃, and impact energy of ≥34J); the steel rolling workshop adjusted the production plan; and the quality inspection department simultaneously carried out "inspection while production".

 

During the production period, the customer arranged a dedicated person to be stationed at GNEE's factory to track the progress in real time. When they saw that the steel plates were produced on the 8th day and all third-party tests (including tensile, bending, and impact tests) passed, the customer representative sighed: "The production efficiency and sense of responsibility of Chinese steel mills have exceeded expectations!" This batch of Q345R steel plates (specifications: 14-22mm × 2000-2800mm × 6000-9000mm) completed rapid customs clearance through the Pingxiang Port in Guangxi and was promptly delivered to the Vietnamese factory, ensuring the smooth resumption of production of the plant.

 

This emergency delivery not only reduced the customer's shutdown losses but also helped GNEE's Q345R steel plates establish a "reliable supplier" image in the Southeast Asian chemical market.
