"The 50 tons of steel plates from the small-batch trial order have performed excellently-now we're adding an additional 300 tons of A285 Grade C!" Recently, a petrochemical enterprise from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) sent an additional order to GNEE STEEL, marking its second purchase following the first cooperation three months ago.
Looking back at the initial cooperation, the customer needed to purchase low-carbon pressure vessel steel plates for a new crude oil storage tank project and contacted GNEE through an international platform. Considering the customer's concerns about product stability, GNEE's sales team proactively provided detailed technical data for the A285 Grade C steel plates (complying with the ASTM A285 standard, with a yield strength of ≥170MPa, a tensile strength of 380-515MPa, delivered in as-rolled or normalized condition, and suitable for low-temperature pressure vessels) and arranged for the laboratory to send samples for mechanical property testing.
The customer's laboratory responded: "The impact energy of the samples (≥27J at -20℃) and welding performance fully meet the requirements for storage tank manufacturing, and GNEE's technical team answered questions about welding processes throughout the process with extraordinary responsibility." Subsequently, the 50-ton trial order (specifications: 8-16mm × 1800-2500mm × 8000mm) was delivered after passing SGS testing. The customer highly recognized the dimensional accuracy (deviation ≤ ±0.5mm) and surface quality of the steel plates.
The 300-ton additional order will be used for manufacturing the main structure of the storage tanks. Currently, production has been completed and the products have been shipped to the Port of Dubai. Relying on "professional services + stable quality", GNEE has successfully opened up the petrochemical material market in the Middle East.
