ASME SA202 Grade B is an alloy steel plate specified by ASME and identical to ASTM A202 Grade B, primarily used for welded boilers and other pressure vessels. It's a chromium-manganese-silicon alloy steel known for its suitability in high-temperature applications and comes in various thickness ranges. ASME SA202 plates are normally supplied in the as-rolled condition. The plates may be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both.
