SA302GrB steel plate is one kind Molybdenum alloy steels in ASME SA302/SA302M,SA302 Grade B is totally equal to A302 Grade B in ASTM A302/A302 steel specification.However which steel grade in Chinese steel specification is equivalent to SA302 Grade B steel plate ?
Comparasion mechincal property and chemical composition from the below table,we found 15CrMoR steel plate in steel standard GB/T713 for boiler building used steels is very similar to SA302GRB steel plate.They are all need Mo % above 0.45% when supplying and heat treatment with Normalized.Else,15CrMoR steel plate have more restriction for P% and S% when rolling.
SA302 Grade A steel plate used for manufacture boilers and pressure vessels with Mo (Min.0.45%) alloy.15CrMoR steel plate also used for boilers and with Mo alloy within 0.45-0.6% in heat analysis rolling.
