XAR450 Wear Resistant Structural Steel
XAR450 (1.8722) Wear Plate is a special structural steel with high wear resistance produced by ThyssenKrupp Steel in Germany, generally the higher the hardness, the higher the wear resistance. This wear-resistant special institutional steel has an average hardness of 450 HB and is quenched or quenched and tempered to have a good martensitic-bainitic microstructure.

XAR450 wear-resistant steel plate hot cutting
It is best to use plasma cutting, and for thinner steel plates, laser cutting can be used in order to reduce thermal deformation. When cutting steel plates with a thickness of up to 20 mm, no heat treatment is normally required. However, when the temperature of the part to be processed is lower than +5°C or when the cut edge requires cold deformation processing in the next processing procedure, preheating at 150°C is considered in order to avoid the occurrence of cold cracks.
