AR450 steel is a wear-resistant steel with a surface hardness of 420-470 durometer Brinell. It is a high carbon alloy steel composed of several different elements, including carbon and boron. Its unique composition and treatment gives it a higher surface hardness than AR400, while maintaining good ductility, formability and impact resistance.
