H Shape Steel Beam

h section steel Products Details
H type steel beam is also called universal steel beam, wide flange I-steel, parallel flange I-beam, is by the middle web connected on both sides of the parallel flange plate to form a cross-section of "H" shaped long steel. There are two kinds of production methods: welding and rolling, but because of the complex welding process and unstable performance, the production method is usually hot rolling.
The characteristics of H steel: 1.H beams in steel structures has higher strength, and the materials required to achieve the same strength requirements are less than I-steel, saving costs; 2. The structure is regular, easy to splice, more flexible in structural construction, and can improve space utilization; 3. Good structural stability. The structure constructed with H-section has high toughness and stability due to flat and tight connection, and is suitable for areas with frequent seismic activity. Therefore, H-Profile steel is widely used in many fields such as steel structure, housing construction, bridge, ship skeleton and so on.
shaped steel is usually divided into wide flange(HW), middle flange(HM) and narrow flange according(HN) to different flange widths, and the specifications are expressed by "web height h* flange width b* web thickness t1* flange thickness t2", such as "250*125*6*9" indicates the height of the web 250mm, the width of the flange 125mm, and the thickness of the web 6mm. H-shaped steel with flange thickness of 9mm.
