JIS Standard Ms Steel U Channel
C-shaped steel, also known as C-shaped purlins, is often used in combination with I-beams and other steel products to build commercial and industrial buildings, such as warehouses. It can be used as stringers, studs, braces, joists, or other structural components that do not require the added strength of an I-beam. Japanese channels are primarily used as supports for commercial and industrial steel structures and also as horizontal or vertical members of small steel platforms or structures.

JIS metal channel Products Details
Channel steel is a versatile product available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses. Its cross-section is square C-shaped, with a straight back and two vertical extensions at the top and bottom. Japanese Channel Steel represents an extensive product line of strip-shaped building elements with parallel internal surface flanges. Channels can be joined first and then welded or bolted, or they can be warm fabricated and then hot rolled or extruded. The upper and lower horizontal parts of the channel are called flanges, and the connecting vertical parts are called webs.
