Nickel Alloy 825
Incoloy 825 is a versatile alloy with good acid and alkali resistance in both oxidizing and reducing corrosive conditions.The most outstanding property of Incoloy 825 alloy is its high level of corrosion resistance, both in reducing and oxidizing atmospheres, which is capable of resisting homogeneous corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is well suited for use in environments such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid as well as sulfur-containing gases, flue gas and oil wells, and even seawater environments.

Fittings for sulfuric acid pickling plants, such as heating coils, vessels, boilers, pickling baskets and chains;
Heat exchangers, evaporators, scrubber towers and immersion tubes for phosphoric acid production.

incoloy 825 is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy stabilized by titanium and containing copper and molybdenum. Its performance characteristics include:
Excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion;
Good resistance to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion;
Good resistance to oxidation and non-oxidizing thermal acid properties;
Good toughness in continuous use at temperatures up to 550°C.
