Q550D high strength steel plate has excellent mechanical properties, its tensile strength can be up to more than 550MPa, yield point is more than 400MPa, elongation is more than 17%. At the same time, it also has good impact toughness, and can be stamped, bent and other processing operations at lower temperatures. After heat treatment, its mechanical properties can be further improved.
The density of Q550D high-strength steel plate is about 7.85g/cm³, and it has a good thermal conductivity and coefficient of thermal expansion. Its thermal conductivity is about 15W/(m-K), and its coefficient of thermal expansion is about 12×10^-6/K, and these properties give it good dimensional stability at high temperatures. In addition, Q550D has good magnetic and electrical conductivity, which can be used to manufacture components requiring high electromagnetic properties.
