Most resistance and fusion techniques may be used to weld SS Grade 309S. Welding with oxyacetylene is not recommended for this steel. These Grade 309S sheets may be hot worked at 1180℃ and reheated at 985℃. To achieve maximum corrosion resistance, this technique is followed by fast cooling.
