EN10025-5 S235J2W Weather Resistant Steel Plate
S235J2W steel plate is a European standard structural steel plate with high yield strength and good atmospheric corrosion resistance. It implements the European standard EN10025-5, corresponding to the numerical number 1.8961.
The chemical composition of S235J2W corten steel metal mainly includes carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and other elements. Among them, the carbon content is about 0.16%-0.24%, the silicon content is about 0.15%-0.40%, the manganese content is about 0.45%-0.65%, the phosphorus content is not higher than 0.04%, and the sulfur content is not higher than 0.05%. The combination of these elements content makes S235J2W steel plate has a high yield strength and good plasticity and toughness.
