S355J0W Weather Resistant Steel
S355J0W belongs to the weathering steel, is according to EN 10025-5 standard improved atmospheric corrosion resistant structural steel, is made by adding a certain amount of alloying elements in the ordinary steel made of a low alloy steel, S indicates a structural steel; 355 indicates that the yield strength value: 355MPa; J0 refers to the impact work experimental temperature of 0℃; the letter W indicates that the steel is improved atmospheric corrosion resistant.
S355J0W has good mechanical properties, welding properties, etc., and the longer the time, the more obvious corrosion resistance.
S355J0W improved atmospheric corrosion resistant steel is to add a certain amount of alloying elements in steel, such as P, Cu, Cr, Ni, Mo, in order to increase the resistance to air corrosion, under the influence of climatic conditions in the base metal in the generation of an automatic protective oxide.S355J0W weathering steel is mainly used in railways, vehicles, bridges, pylons, photovoltaic, high-speed engineering and other environments.
