Uses of CortenB Corten steel

Cowden steel is mainly used for: gas saving, air preheaters, heat exchangers and evaporators in high sulphurous flue gases, to resist the condensation corrosion of sulphurous flue gases. It has the best resistance to sulfur ions, hydrochloric acid and other acidic corrosion. Spiral grooved tubes are the main, economical and proven heat transfer element and have been used in a large number of air preheater products for various boilers. The spiral groove tube utilizes the inner wall and the spiral groove to guide the flow, forcibly perturbing the work material inside the tube, thus improving the heat transfer efficiency. The heat transfer coefficient of spiral groove tube can generally reach 1.25 times of the same diameter light tube, the use of spiral groove tube can improve the efficiency of the heat exchange equipment, reduce the amount of steel pipe, reduce the space occupied by the heat exchange equipment, with good economy and reliability.
