AR450 Wear Resistance Plate
AR450 is a high carbon alloy steel composed of boron, carbon and other elements with a surface hardness of 420-470 Brinell.AR450 is a wear-resistant steel with a unique combination of hardness, formability, ductility and impact resistance. Steel plates are hardened and tempered by heating the plate, immersing the plate in water, reheating it, and then placing the plate in a room temperature area for drying to form a stronger crystalline structure.
AR450 abrasion resistant steel plate reduces problems caused by friction or scuffing and erosion in industrial wear applications. By reducing wear, it maximises production time and minimises downtime previously caused by worn parts; this also extends the life of the machine.

AR450 is an abrasion-resistant plate suitable for a variety of applications requiring slightly higher strength than AR400.
