Steel Wear Plate Material
Wear-resistant steel plates are particularly suitable for service life in wear-resistant working conditions. Steel is hardened by oil or water, as well as its chemical composition and crystalline organisation, making it much more wear resistant compared to other types of steel.
Abrasion resistant steel (also known as wear plate, AR plate, or 400 Brinell hardness plate), in order to increase its hardness and strength, and at the same time add chromium, manganese and other elements, can effectively alleviate the adverse consequences caused by physical and chemical abrasion.
AR steel plate is the most widely used kind of wear-resistant plate at home and abroad. Its perfect combination of strength and hardness can maintain good usability even in harsh environments. Its strength and service life are 4~5 times higher than general steel plates.
