9Cr2 90Cr3 Round Metal Bar
9Cr2 round stock metal for the gauge edge steel, performance and Cr2 equivalent, usually used in the manufacture of cold work moulds, stamping die punches and concave moulds, embossing moulds, etc.. Hardenability is better than chromium steel, ¢ 45 ~ ¢ 50mm workpiece can be quenched in oil, high wear resistance, good tempering stability, poor machinability, heat treatment deformation is small, but the tendency to decarburisation is larger, suitable for high wear resistance, cutting is not violent and deformation of small edged tools, such as plate teeth, taps, drills, reamers, gear milling cutters, broaches, etc., but also can be used as a cold punching die and cold rolls.
