ASTM A572 High Strength Steel Channel Section
ASTM A572 is a high-strength, low-alloy (HSLA) steel alloyed with niobium and vanadium, which strengthens the steel and provides a higher yield point strength than ASTM A36. A572 HSLA channel steel is ideal for applications that require higher strength because it reduces thickness and weight.
ASTM A572 sections are available in three grades: Grade 42, Grade 50, and Grade 55.
