Customer Case Study
Case 1:
A pharmaceutical enterprise was required to customize a batch of stainless steel reactor components for cleanrooms. The specific requirements were as follows:
- Cutting 30mm-thick 316L stainless steel plates;
- Processing rings with dimensions of φ1824*φ450, with a total weight of 25 tons;
- Meeting strict standards including a hole diameter tolerance of ±0.5mm, burr-free and slag-free cutting sections, and high edge perpendicularity.
Solution:
A 30,000W high-power laser cutting machine was adopted. By dynamically adjusting the cutting speed, air pressure, and focal position, thermal deformation was effectively controlled, ensuring the dimensional accuracy of each circular hole.
Relying on a process database, parameters were quickly matched. Combined with a strict quality inspection process (such as first-article inspection and in-process inspection), the finally delivered products fully met the customer's requirements, and the edge quality and dimensional consistency were highly praised.
Case 2:
A power battery manufacturer needed to process 8mm-thick 304 stainless steel battery casings. The requirements were:
- The perpendicularity error of the cutting surface should be less than 0.5 degrees;
- The aperture tolerance of the heat dissipation hole cluster should be ±0.03mm.
Solution:
A 22kW ultra-high-power laser cutting machine was used to achieve one-time penetration of the plates, with a cutting speed of 3 meters per minute-three times faster than traditional processes.
A high-speed galvanometer system realized 1,000 piercings per second, and thousands of microholes were processed on one square meter of plates, ensuring heat dissipation efficiency.
