Q345R Pressure Vessel Plate

q345R steel boiler plate welding characteristics
When the yield ratio ≤ 0.75, greater than 0.8 may have a higher risk of crack formation. Preheating of steel plate welding is not required. When the steel plate thickness ≤ 34, when the steel plate thickness > 34, preheating to 100 ~ 150 ℃, in addition to welding heat treatment needs to be eliminated after the stress, the heating temperature range of 600 ~ 640 ℃, usually air-cooled and then insulated furnace cooling to below 400 ℃.
When the local minimum carbon content of Q345R steel welding basically no strict online limitations, due to its superheat sensitivity is not high, cold cracking tendency is low, but due to the superheated zone of plasticity and toughness is better, smaller linear energy is better.
When welding Q345R steels with higher carbon content, the martensite content increases due to the increased tendency to quench, which leads to an increase in the tendency to cold cracking of the string cable energy and embrittlement of the superheated zone becomes severe, and the larger the offline energy portion the better in this case
