P355NL2 Steel For Boilers And Pressure Vessels
P355NL2 boiler grade plates have good weldability and high resistance to brittleness. These types are mainly used to manufacture pressurized gas containers (LPG, butane and propane tanks), pressure vessels, steam boiler components, pressure pipes, compressors, etc. Their most widespread use is in applications below -20º.
P355NL2 boiler quality steel plate is supplied in the normalized state. The normalizing temperature is 900 - 950 ºC and it must be left in the furnace after temperature equalization for about 1 minute per mm of plate thickness. Therefore, it has good cold and hot forming properties without negatively affecting the material properties.
