SA737 Grade C Boiler Steel Plate
SA737GrC steel plate is a high-strength low alloy steel plate for pressure vessels, it is an American Standard steel plate, which is specialized for pipelines and pressure vessels that require high strength and toughness.
Heat treatment of SA737GrC pressure vessel plate:SA737GrC pressure vessel steel plate is heated to a suitable temperature for normalizing, which has formed an austenitic organization, but this temperature should not exceed 925.It should be held at this temperature for a sufficient period of time to allow the whole of the material to be heated uniformly, and then cooled in air. If the Demanding Party agrees, faster cooling than air cooling is permitted in order to improve strength or toughness, but the plate must then be tempered in the range 595-705.
