In recent years, the surface strengthening (moisturizing) technology of steel materials has developed rapidly, and new technologies and new processes have emerged in an endless stream, and different surface strengthening technologies can be selected for different needs to improve the wear resistance of steel under various types of wear conditions, and expensive alloy steel can be replaced by inexpensive matrix materials to make workpieces. Carburizing, carbonitriding, nitriding and other processes are still the main measures to strengthen mechanical parts, the use of co-infiltration, composite infiltration, boronization, metal infiltration, spray welding, surfacing welding, vapor deposition, brush plating, ion implantation and other processes have achieved obvious results in improving wear resistance under various working conditions of different parts. In addition, casting processes such as casting infiltration and composite casting are also used in the manufacture of wear-resistant steel parts.
