ASTM A302 boiler vessel plate is manganese-molybdenum and manganese-molybdenum-nickel alloy steel plate for pressure vessels.ASTM A302 boiler vessel steel is available in four grades, namely, Grade A, Grade B, Grade C, and Grade D. The grades A and D contain nickel as a chemical component. Among them, Grade C and Grade D contain the chemical composition nickel. Under the same thickness condition, the yield strength and tensile strength of ASTM A302 boiler vessel plate of Grade B and Grade C are the same, but the elongation of Grade C plate is higher.
The properties of ASTM A302 boiler plate are based on its manganese-molybdenum-nickel composition. The thickness of ASTM A302 boiler plate is limited only by the ability of the chemistry to meet the specified mechanical property requirements.
ASTM A302 Boiler Vessel Plate is widely used in the fabrication of pressure vessels, boilers, tanks and heat exchangers in oil and gas projects.
