Our Galvanized Corrugated Steel Sheets are made from Aluzinc or Zinc Coated PPGI Steel Coils, with an effective width of 650-1250 mm, thickness of 0.13-0.8 mm, and lengths ranging from 1-11.8 meters.

These sheets offer excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and are ideal for roofing and cladding applications.

Product Details

GI Corrugated Roofing Sheet is protected from corrosion by a zinc coating applied to the steel sheet. The zinc coating should be thick enough to ensure the durability of the GI Corrugated Roofing Sheet by preventing corrosion.

A 20 µm coat of zinc should be applied per side of the GI Corrugated Roofing Sheet (total of 40µm for both sides of the GI Corrugated Roofing Sheet equivalent to 275g/m²). Zinc coating thickness and method of galvanization are the most important factors for durability.

The galvanization method used must be hot-dip galvanization as it better ensures the durability of the GI Corrugated Roofing Sheet. Other methods such as electro-galvanization should be avoided because the coating thickness is thinner than hot-dip galvanization and the durability of the GI Corrugated Roofing Sheet will be reduced, as a result.

It's possible to increase the zinc coating thickness in order to increase the service life (durability) of the GI Corrugated Roofing Sheet.

What is Aluzinc Sheet?

Aluzinc steel sheet, also known as galvalume steel, is an alloy-coated steel product made from a hot-dip-plated, cold-rolled steel substrate that is coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy consisting of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon.

Aluminum: provides heat resistance and forms a protective barrier against oxidation.

Zinc: provides sacrificial protection against rust.

Silicon: enhances adhesion and uniformity of the coating.

Product form

Aluzinc sheet: Supplied as coil or cut sheet. It can be stocked as a base material or used directly as a color coated substrate.

Aluzinc Corrugated Sheet: GL flat sheet formed by continuous roll forming, wave height is 10-50mm, wave pitch is 60-400mm. Good structural rigidity.

Aluzinc Sandwich Panel: Aluminum-zinc plated sheet as the surface layer, the middle filled with polyurethane/rock wool and other insulation core material composite panels.

Aluzinc Profiles: C/Z Purlin, Drainage Gutter, Stamping Parts, etc.

Classification

Architectural Aluzinc Sheet: AZ60/AZ75, regular zinc flower or small zinc flower metal roof panel, wall panel, ridge cover, ventilator, guttering, downpipe, etc.

Appliance Aluzinc Sheet: no zinc flower AZ50/AZ60 Refrigerator, freezer back/side plate/casing, washing machine casing/tumbler/panel, air conditioning casing/partition, water heater casing, oven casing, etc.

Industrial Aluzinc Sheet: Industrial Plant enclosures, grain bins, garage doors, industrial doors, ventilation ducts (especially high-temperature-resistant parts), electrical cabinets, reflectors for lamps (to take advantage of the high reflectivity), general containers, agricultural equipment parts, etc.

Processing

Passivation: Chromate passivation/chrome-free passivation, which significantly improves the resistance to white rust

Oiling: Coating of the surface with a very thin layer of rust preventive oil.

Skin Passing / Tension Leveling: Slight cold rolling to improve surface flatness, finish and hardness.
