S500Q steel plate is used in construction machinery, mining machinery and coal mining machinery, such as hydraulic support, crane extension arm, crane extension arm, excavator support arm, etc. High strength structural steel S500Q plate is mainly used for manufacturing hydraulic supports, heavy vehicles, engineering machinery and port machinery with high welding performance.

 

S500Q steel plate is a high-yield-strength structural steel (HY-80/HY-100) for engineering under the European standard EN 10025-6, delivered in a quenched and tempered (Q+T) condition with a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa, designed for demanding applications in construction machinery, mining, and heavy vehicles, offering good weldability and low-temperature impact resistance (at -20°C).

Key Characteristics:

S (Structural): Indicates it's for structural applications.

500 (Yield Strength): Signifies a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa (MegaPascals).

Q (Quenched & Tempered): Denotes the required heat treatment for delivery, enhancing strength and toughness.

Impact Test: Specifies a minimum impact energy at -20°C (30 Joules).
