ASTM A285 specification is the Standard Specification for Pressure Vessel Plates, Carbon Steel, Low- and Intermediate-Tensile Strength intended for fusion-welded pressure vessels. Three grades having different strength levels are available in thicknesses up to 2", inclusively.
What is the difference between A285 and A36 steel?
