Firstly S355J2 steel plate rolling from steel specification EN 10025-2,and S355NL steel plate rolling from steel specification EN 10025-3 hot rolled structural steels with Normalized or Normalized rolled technical delivery conditions.
This means S355J2 can be offered without Normalized heat treatment,but S355NL have to be offered with Normalized heat treatment or Normalized rolled condition.
Key Differences
In the second,S355J2 steel plate shall be done charpy impacting test at low temperature minus 20 Degree Celsius,but S355NL steel plate shall be done this test at low temperature minus 50 Degree Celsius with minimum impact energy value 27J on longitudinal.
