4. Introduction to Surface Quality Requirements for Q890D Steel Plate
Surface quality: The surface of the steel plate shall be free from defects such as cracks, blisters, scabs, folds, and inclusions. The steel plate must not have delamination. If any of the above defects are present, they may be removed by grinding, provided the depth of removal does not exceed half of the thickness tolerance based on the actual dimension, and the minimum thickness of the plate is ensured. Defect removal areas must be smooth and free of sharp edges.
5. Introduction to Futures Custom Rolling Process for Q890D Steel Plate
The purchaser provides specific dimensional requirements and quantity.
Minimum order quantity: 60 tons.
Width 1700–3200 mm without surcharge; minimum length 6500 mm; single specification must reach 3.2 tons per unit weight.
The sales department confirms delivery cycle and unit price based on order and technical requirements.
Supplier and purchaser proceed with对接 (liaison and coordination).
Both parties sign the contract after agreeing on cycle and price.
The mill issues the metallurgical batch number.
