Q500NH Weather Resistant Steel Plates, also known as low alloy steels, are steels with a carbon content of less than 0.2% by weight. To which Cu, Cr, Ni.P, Si and Mn are mainly added as alloying elements, totaling no more than 3-5% wt. The chemical composition of these steel alloys is specially formulated to provide early formation of rust/iron oxide layer to provide weatherproof coating to the underlying steel.
