Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant JFE EH 400 plates. These plates produced with JFE EVERHARD can be made into any desired shape. Thanks to their hardness, wear resistance, formability, toughness and durability, they are used in a wide range of applications.JFE 400 flat sheets have alloyed metals added to increase the surface hardness.

JFE EH450 is a wear-resistant steel for non-structural applications with an average target surface hardness of 450 BHN. eH stands for EVERHARD. JFE EH450 is manufactured by JFE Japan and is also available as a high toughness series of EH450LE with a reported impact temperature of -40C (-40F).

JFE EVERHARD 500 steel plates are available in higher thicknesses for heavy machinery such as excavating cranes and 10,000 tonne ships.JFE EH 500 plates have unrivalled core strength and provide solid infrastructure support.EH 500 plates have a very low alloy metal content but a high boron content, resulting in high hardness.EH 500 plates are also available as a high toughness series with a reported impact temperature of -40C (-40F).
