JFE-EH360 Abrasion Plate
JFE-EH360 is a special structural steel produced by JFE with high wear resistance, generally the higher the hardness, the higher the wear resistance. This wear-resistant special institutional steel has an average hardness of 361HB or more, and after quenching or quenching and tempering, it has a good martensite-bainite microstructure.

JFE-EH360 abrasion plate hot processing
The gas cutting surface can be performed like a normal steel plate, but because of the high hardness of the cutting surface, it is necessary to prevent "notching" during gas cutting in order to prevent cracking of the steel plate. For this reason, it is recommended that you increase the air and oxygen pressure and reduce the cutting speed to the extent that the gas cutting surface does not produce a "notch". Especially for the ultra-high hardness 500 grade, it is recommended to preheat the steel plate at less than 200°C or perform supplementary heating to prevent cracking on the cutting surface. If a nick occurs in the cut, use an abrasive wheel or the like to smooth the cut to prevent cracking of the steel plate.
