431 Stainless Bar
431 Stainless Steel Round Bar is a high chromium, low nickel, high hardenability martensitic stainless steel with high strength and good corrosion resistance that is typically hardened and tempered within the tensile range 850 - 1000 Mpa (Condition T) Brinell range 248 - 302.431 Stainless steels are fairly resistant to salt water, but they are less resistant to tropical water than 316 grade steels.431 steel's overall corrosion resistance is similar to or slightly lower than 304 steel. 431 stainless steel with a smooth surface finish performs well under tempered and hardened conditions.
