Hot Rolled Wide Flange Beam
H-beam is divided into hot rolled H-beam and welded steel beam (H) two kinds of hot rolled steel H beam is divided into wide flange H beam steel (HW) in the flange H section steel (HM) and narrow flange H channel steel (HN) three kinds of steel.
HW is H steel height and flange width is basically equal; mainly used for reinforced concrete frame structure column steel core column, also known as strong steel column; in the steel structure is mainly used for columns.
HM is the ratio of height and flange width of H section steel roughly 1.33~~1.75, mainly used in steel structure: used as steel frame columns, used as frame beams in the frame structure subjected to dynamic loads; for example: equipment platform.
HN is H section beam height and flange width ratio is greater than or equal to 2, mainly used for beams; I-beam is equivalent to the use of HN-beam.
