Pressure Vessel Steel Plate Material
Pressure vessel steel plate, means carbon steel and low alloy steel plate used for the manufacture of pressure vessel shells.
It includes carbon steel, carbon-manganese steel, micro-alloy steel, low-alloy high-strength steel, and low-temperature steel. The working temperature is generally from -20℃ to 500℃, and individually up to 560℃. It mainly refers to 16MnR steel (16 manganese-capacity low-alloy steel, a type of steel), which is used for the manufacture of ASME Code pressure vessels.
Pressure vessel plate is widely used in petroleum, chemical, power station, boiler and other industries, for the production of reactors, heat exchangers, separators, ball tanks, oil and gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear power reactors, pressure shell, boiler ladle, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, high-pressure water pipes for hydroelectric power stations, hydraulic turbine worm shells and other equipment and components.
