Critical welding requirements:
Preheating: 120-180°C (for thickness >20mm)
Consumables: Use JIS Z3212 YGW18 or equivalent low-hydrogen electrodes
Heat input control: 1.8-3.0 kJ/mm optimal range
Post-weld heat treatment (PWHT): Recommended at 580-620°C for thickness >32mm
Hardness control: Max 350HV in weld/HAZ
