1. What welding procedures are recommended?
Answer:
Standard Welding Protocol:
Preheat: 200-250°C (for t>25mm)
Consumables: EN ISO 16834-A G 62 5 M21 4Ni1.5Mo
Heat Input: 1.5-2.5 kJ/mm
Interpass Temp: 200-250°C
PWHT: 610-630°C × 1hr/25mm (for t>40mm)
Testing: Impact at -40°C
Special Notes:
• No buttering layer required for standard applications
• Hydrogen control <5ml/100g sufficient
• Hardness surveys only for thickness >75mm

Answer:
Ideal for:
