A387 Grade 5 Class 2 Boiler Quality Steel
A387 Gr.5 Cl.2 boiler steel plate is a chromium-molybdenum clad plate designed for weldable carbon steel heavyweight containers at elevated temperatures. The molybdenum content gives the material a more pronounced temperature adaptability, while the chromium provides better resistance to use.
A387 Gr.5 Cl.2 pressure vessel plate has a tensile strength between 515 MPa and 690 MPa, a yield strength of 310 MPa, and an elongation of at least 18%.
