Nimonic Alloy 75 Round Bars
Nimonic 75 (N06075) nickel-based alloy is a nickel-chromium alloy with very low titanium and iron content and excellent high temperature properties. The alloy is strengthened by the addition of elements (chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, etc.) with different atomic sizes from the base metal to cause distortion of the base metal dot matrix, the addition of elements (such as cobalt) that reduce the mis-energy of the alloy's base stacking layer, and the addition of elements (such as tungsten and molybdenum) that slow down the rate of diffusion of the base elements to strengthen the base.
