Molybdenum Alloy Bars With HRC18 - 20
HRC18-20 alloy is the most suitable molybdenum alloy available for high temperature use. It is harder than pure molybdenum, has a higher recrystallization temperature and better creep resistance. Its recrystallization temperature of about 1400 °C is much higher than that of molybdenum, resulting in better weldability. HRC18-20 alloys have excellent high temperature strength, high recrystallization temperatures and good thermal conductivity.

HRC18 - 20 alloy round metal stock are also used as X-ray rotating anode parts, die casting and extrusion molds, heaters and insulation screens in high temperature furnaces.
HRC18 - 20 alloy round metal rod are also used as molybdenum electrodes for glass furnaces, molybdenum boats for nuclear fuel, hot runner nozzles/nozzle cores for refractory parts in industrial high-temperature furnaces, and in micro-spot welding products.
