ASTM-A302-A302M.pdf

A302 Grade D is an alloy steel plate specified by the ASTM A302 standard for use in pressure vessels and boilers, known for its Manganese-Molybdenum (Mn-Mo) and Manganese-Molybdenum-Nickel (Mn-Mo-Ni) composition, providing good strength for high-pressure applications. Its typical uses include the oil, gas, and chemical industries. A302GrD steel plate shall be normally supplied in the as-rolled condition. Plates may be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both. If A302GrD above 50mm in thickness shall be normalized.
