SMA400CW SMA490CW Weathering Steel Plate
SMA400CW is a Japanese standard corrosion resistant steel plate conforming to JIS G3114-2004. This grade has the characteristics of rust prevention, extended life of corrosion-resistant parts, thinning and consumption reduction, labour saving and energy saving.
SMA490CW steel plate is a kind of weathering steel plate, which is widely used in air preheater, coal economiser, railway vehicle, container production, bridge construction, etc.

steel weathering plate manufacturing process
Weathering steel plate is generally used in concentrate into the furnace - smelting (converter, electric furnace - micro-alloying treatment - blowing argon - LF refining - low-superheat continuous casting (feeding rare earth wire) - controlled rolling and cooling and other process routes. In the smelting, scrap with the charge together with the furnace, smelting according to the conventional process, after the steel to add deoxidiser and alloy, the steel by blowing argon treatment, followed by casting, blowing argon tempering steel cast into slabs by continuous casting machine. Due to the addition of rare earth elements to the steel, weathering steel plate is purified, the content of inclusions is greatly reduced.
