The natural surface of SMA 400 AW weathering steel usually does not require any form of maintenance such as painting, which makes the material a cost-effective alternative to other structural steels. It is mainly used for tanks, containers, bridges, frame structures, vehicles and other constructions with welding and bolting requirements.
