Q355GNH Weather Resistant Steel to fulfill the specification GB/T4171-2008, weathering steel after adding a few alloying elements such as Cu, P, Cr, Ni, etc., so that it on the basic surface of the metal to form a protective layer to improve the atmospheric corrosion resistance of the steel. The trademark of steel consists of the first letter of the Chinese pinyin "Q" for "yield strength" and "high weather resistance", the lower limit of the yield strength of "GNH" and the quality quality grade (A, B, C, D, E). It is mainly used in structures such as vehicles, containers, construction, towers or other structural parts, and has better atmospheric corrosion resistance compared with welded weathering steel. Available steel plate thickness ≤20mm.

Used in the manufacture of containers, railway vehicles, oil derricks, harbor buildings, oil platforms and chemical and petroleum equipment containing hydrogen sulfide corrosive medium containers and other structural parts.
