FH36 Shipbuilding Steel Plate


FH36 plate is a high-strength shipbuilding steel plate. According to the requirements of GB/T712-2011, the impact temperature of FH36 ship plate is -60℃. BBN steel can produce marine steel products of different classification societies specifications according to user needs, China CCS, American ABS, German GL, French BV, Norway DNV, Japan NK, British LR, Italian RINA, South Korea KR (Norway DNV and Germany merged into: VL).

Tensile Strength: 490-630 MPa, with some reaching 550 MPa or higher (e.g., 590-715 MPa, depending on delivery conditions or testing methods).

Low-Temperature Toughness: At -60°C, the impact energy absorbed is ≥300 J (some data show an average absorbed energy of 34 J or higher, depending on testing standards or plate thickness), preventing brittle fracture and making it suitable for cold waters.

Fatigue Resistance: Long-term service under alternating loads (such as wave impact) reduces the risk of fatigue cracking.

Weldability:

Low Carbon Equivalent: Cracks are less likely to form during welding, and the mechanical properties of the weld metal are similar to those of the parent material, ensuring the quality and strength of the welded joint.

Processing Ease: Supports various processing methods such as flame cutting, laser cutting, and plasma cutting to meet the needs of complex structures.

Corrosion Resistance:
